Rhaphiolepis indica 'Oriental Pearl'

  • Full Sun
  • Part Shade
  • Frost Tolerant

Product Code: RHAOP

Common Name: Oriental Pearl, Indian Hawthorn

'Oriental Pearl' is a compact, low/slow growing evergreen shrub (which means low maintenance) that produces masses of White flowers over a long period, usually from winter and deep into spring.

It makes a fantastic little rounded hedge, garden filler or can be grown in a pot for a sunny balcony.

It is ideal for full sun but can take part shade. It will grow in most soil types but prefers moist, well-drained soil; is drought tolerant, frost tolerant and can take front line exposure.

For best results, prune to shape once a year and make sure to remove the spent flower stems. This will keep the plant looking lush.
