Common Name: 'Bay Tree'

The Bay Tree is a slow growing, hardy evergreen tree with dark green leaves and small yellow flowers. Bay Tree can be used in any garden and mainly for hedges and topiary as it responds well to pruning. It can be kept in a large tub for many years due to the speed of the plant. The leaves are aromatic and often used in cooking.

It likes full sun or part shade, well drained fertile soil and moisture for summer. It will grow in most soil types and will tolerate frost and drought once established.
