Common Name: Western Glory Bottlebrush

This hardy, adaptable ornamental native shrub produces masses of mauve-red flower spikes during spring and then again in autumn. The flowers attract nectar-feeding birds. 'Western Glory' is an ideal screening/hedging plant or can be used as a great specimen in the garden.

It will withstand the poorest of soils taking water logging, dry periods light frost and moderate coastal exposure. It grows best in well drained, moist soil and full sun for optimum flowering.
