Acacia cognata 'Mop Top'

A dense shrub with soft aromatic foliage the 'Mop Top' produces bronzey-plum coloured new growth with lemon ball flowers in Spring. It is self-mounding so little pruning is needed to maintain it's round shape. This shrub is great for a dramatic focal plant within a landscape, broadscale planting or a strong border plant.
Suited to cool temperate, subtropical and semi-arid climates with well drained soil. 'Mop Top' can handle moderate frosts and sea winds, with either full sun or light shade.
